We’ve been working hard to make this new website legit: we’re trying to recruit bloggers, post more often, and add other cool features to the site. But alas, more content and a new direction leave us overwhelmed when managing older parts of the site, like the forum. For that reason, we’re planning to retire the forum pretty soon. That is, unless there’s a good reason not to.
Here’s our reasoning for taking it down- it may be too much community to manage right now. We want the main community feel of this site to be comments on the blog, which are still young and growing. There’s also a lot of spam posts on the forum, and rather than having forum moderators it seems to make more sense to put that recruiting effort into getting more bloggers.
Anyway, what say ye? Are you going to be broken hearted without our forum, or will it just be one less site for you to have to visit to get your Chad and Todd training fix? Let us know!

I’d be okay with the forums. In my opinion, searching on google provides access to a much larger forum when trying to find a specific answer to a specific question.
Having an opportunity to stay focused on the blog seems like a good use of resources.
Perhaps, every so often you can make a call out for questions (then combine those with regular questions you receive through other channels) and post specifically as an FAQ on various topics.
Thanks for your thoughts! That’s exactly our reasoning.
We’ll do it then, that is unless anyone else as a good reason why we shouldn’t in the next few days.
